Thirty gatherings, countless stories, and a journey we’ve built together. In 2026, Europamundo celebrates a very special milestone: its 30th Annual Tour Operator Convention, which will take place in Chania, on the island of Crete, Greece.
More than a professional gathering, this year’s event represents three decades of partnerships, shared experiences, learning, and, above all, people who share the same passion for travel and connecting different cultures.
Under the theme “30 Gatherings, Sharing the Journey,” this year’s convention invites us to reflect on everything we’ve built throughout our history and, most importantly, look ahead to the new paths we’ll continue exploring together.
Because at Europamundo, every journey is shaped by people.
From Paris in 1996 to Chania in 2026: A History of Connections
It all began in Paris in 1996, when the first Europamundo Convention took place. Since then, these gatherings have become an essential part of our company’s identity, growing alongside Europamundo and strengthening relationships with the professionals who help make our tours possible every day.
Over the past three decades, our convention has traveled to different destinations around the world, turning each location into a meeting point for cultures, professionals, and shared stories.
From Spain, where Europamundo is headquartered, to countries such as Morocco, Portugal, Russia, Jordan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Poland, every edition has brought new memories and opportunities to strengthen our connections.
In 2015, the 20th Convention was held in Madrid and featured heartfelt tributes to the professionals and partners who helped build Europamundo’s history.
Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates, hosted the 25th edition in 2022. In the following years, cities such as Évora, Portugal, in 2023, and Marrakech, Morocco, in 2024, became part of this ongoing journey.
More recently, in 2025, Warsaw, Poland, was chosen to bring our tour operators and teams together once again, encouraging the exchange of experiences and the development of new projects.
Different countries, cultures, and settings, but always the same purpose: coming together, listening to one another, and continuing to grow as a team.
Now, in 2026, we reach our 30th Convention, celebrating a journey that goes far beyond the destinations we’ve visited.
It’s a story of relationships built over time, friendships that cross borders, and partnerships that continue to grow stronger with every gathering.
The city of Chania, on the Greek island of Crete, will provide the setting for this special edition.
Known for its Venetian harbor, historic streets, and architecture shaped by different cultures, Chania offers a distinctive and welcoming atmosphere for our convention participants.
Starting on October 29, our guests will begin arriving for another opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, meet new professionals, and strengthen the relationships that bring Europamundo together with tour operators from around the world.
Through shared moments, meetings, and the exchange of experiences, we want to highlight something that has always been part of our history: the importance of genuine human connections.
And there’s something especially meaningful about celebrating this journey in a destination that has also witnessed centuries of cultural exchange.
Europamundo Tour Operators: Different Countries, One Shared Journey
One of the most special aspects of the Europamundo Convention is its ability to bring together professionals who, despite geographic distances and cultural differences, share common goals, experiences, and the same enthusiasm for travel.
These are tour operators and partners who understand the challenges of the travel industry, contribute to the development of our tours, and help travelers from different countries discover the world.
Some have been with us for many years. In fact, we have tour operator partners who have been part of our story since that very first convention in Paris in 1996 and who, three decades later, are still by our side. Others have joined us along the way, building relationships that have also become an essential part of Europamundo.
It’s this combination of experiences and backgrounds that makes every convention so meaningful. Reconnecting with those who have supported us for so many years reflects the trust, commitment, and lasting bonds we’ve built together.

Europamundo Ambassadors: No One Travels This Road Alone
At this 30th edition, one of the initiatives we’d especially like to highlight is the introduction of our Europamundo Ambassadors, members of our own team who will have a very special mission: welcoming, supporting, and helping participants feel included throughout the convention.
We know that attending a major international event can bring a mix of excitement and expectations, especially for those experiencing it for the first time or arriving without other colleagues from their company.

As part of the 2026 program, Friday, October 30, will be dedicated to meetings and a workshop, creating opportunities for conversation and collaboration between tour operators and Europamundo teams.
These conversations will continue during the coffee breaks on Sunday, November 1.
