TVINDEFOSSEN WATERFALL

We are going to stop by Tvindefossen one of the famous natural attraction in Norway famous for its beauty. It is a gorgeous 152m waterfall tumbling in strands with a graceful character. You will stare at the wonder of this stunning waterfall and be delighted in the sound as the water cascades down different levels of rock. You can get up close and personal to the fall, although rightly so there are barriers to stop you going too close, definitely a must go!

SWORDS IN ROCK

We are going to visit the “swords in rock” also known as the Viking monument. The swords are of course worth visiting when visiting Stavanger. It is situated in Hafrsfjord. The monument symbolizes peace, unity, and freedom swords themselves are impressive. A good experience to see them up close and it is worth reading a bit about the history around them.

BORGUND STAVE CHURCH

We are going to visit Borgund stave church which is situated in the Borgund village it is now a museum formerly a church. This beautiful stave church is a wonder to behold from the distance with its natural backdrop. As you walk towards it, you can begin to appreci ate the intricate angles of the roof and the stave that made up the building. Walking around the church you can appreciate the architecture of the 12th century which makes it worth a visit.

FORTRESS SUOMENLINNA

We are going to visit fortress Suomenlinna which is one of Finland’s most popular sights. It has breathtaking views with history attached to it. It is only a very short ferry crossing away from Helsinki just by taking a short boat journey and you can enter a different world. Grand fortress standing tall in between the sea featuring museums and libraries to dig more about its existence and history. Its setup in-betweens 8 inhabited island is what makes the place more attractive. The islands are linked by bridges, aesthetically beautiful, and full of history. In addition to being a UNESCO world heritage site, it is real. Because it has so much to explore in Fortress Suomenlinna this place is worth visiting without a second thought.

VIKING SHIP MUSEUM

We are going to visit The Viking Ship Museum. It is located on the Bygdoy peninsula in Oslo, Norway. It is part of the Museum of Cultural History of the University of Oslo. It is small but fascinating, with lots of interesting bits of information about Ships of that era. It is are amazing to witness how they put together the ships again despite them being crushed into small pieces during burial. Lots to see, including videos, objects, and materials from the Viking age. All set out fantastically easy to understand and get a real grasp of the Viking era. The museum building has been designed to show the ships off to their fullest.Large archway-shaped rooms made of stone and painted white allow the stunning ships to be the absolute focus of the space and give an almost cave-like experience.
